Trick or Treat

Halloween has always been my favorite time of year. Maybe thats just the witch in me.
I was so proud of Jack. He didnt get scared at all.
One of the houses on my moms street was all decked out, graveyard, blood, ghosts, shakeing bushes. He walked by a monster and said boo to it.
About 5 houses into trick or treating he looked into his pumpkin and realized there was candy in there and got really excited. LOL
i dont know why people kept saying he was a bear.

He had a banana, geez!
He has this weird thing with wanting to close doors. People would give him the candy and he would say BYe and try to close the door, it was cute and rude at the same time.
Its funny how something so simple as trick or treating makes me so happy. He was such a good boy and even helped me pass out candy when we got back to moms.

Dress Rehersal!

Dress Rehesal today for Little Hafla of Horrors!
I love how much fun we have and how different all it is.
we have chickens, pirates, zombies, sesame street count, crazy people and so much more.
My wings were having issues but i think thats because i got so into the song that i kinda lost what i was doing.
The strait Jacket works pretty well. Teresa said thats her favorite. Go figure a dance with me going crazy is her favorite. Ha Ha Ha
I need to do some costume adjustments but for the most part and ready.
Im in major need of more bollywood practice and Thriller practice so hopefully Jack wont be a monster tomorrow night since Teresa is takeing me and then playing with him.
This upcoming Saturday is the Famous Maurine halloween party, always tons of fun and child free so really excited.

1 Year Married

I cant believe we have been married for a year already. I still have my dress on the back of my door.

October 10, 2008 was an amazing day!

Bellydancers, tinkerfet cake topper, great friends and a wonderful husband.

We have been together for almost 5 years but getting married changed everything.

my wonderful friend Joan got ordained online to do our handfasting. Jack "walked" me down the isle and then proceed to talk throught the whole thing at 9 months old.

Rebecca helped fix my bustle and lace me into the corset,

Chairty took some amazing pictures.

My dad tied our hands toghether.

The best friends a girl could belly danced and we even got everyone involved witht the last dance. Its was fun seeing so much of my family who i never really talk because they think im so different have so much fun.

We had a coffee bar.

and the weather was amazing. 70 degrees, on our anniversary it was 30 and snowing. how weird. thats nebraska.

Last night we went to dinner and a movie. we havnt done that since before jack.

Zombie land is really freaking funny.

all in all a great day and night.

Flu shot

Got my flu shot today. They kinda make my arm muscle hurt but other than that fine. Chris keeps saying that his is makeing him sick. Its not a live virus so i think hes just nuts. Jack didnt whine as much about his as Chris is doing. MEN what to do with em.
I'm not really woried about the swine flu shot. The doc said more people die from the seasonal flu than the swine people are just panaicking. Im sure i will get one for the boys. I want to go to more playdates but with all the sick going around dont really want him around all that. I cant keep in a bubble all the time i guess.

Little Hafla of Horrors

Getting excited. Its only a few weeks away now.
I have finally finished my props.
Strait jacket for Disturbia, I thought with the mental issues i have been having dancing to this was appropriate.
Wings fixed for Wings of a butterfly.
I am so short i got some cheap wings of isis for only $30 on Ebay and used one wing and cut it up the middle and got shorter sticks and redid the neck as to no choke me. They arnt as nice and fancy as some but will work for what i need them for.

I still dont know all of the bollywood dance but am easy to teach so not worried.

Blogging through the boredom.

I have like no motivation today to do anything. Our apartment is a disaster and jack keeps makeing it worse every hour.
Im really freaking out about this car that Chris got from his sisters boyfriend really cheap. He never changed the title to his name or got plates for it so im freaking out that the dmv will have issues and make us pay a big ass amount of over charges.
It has to be inspected by the sheriff before you can get plates and since it has been stolen a few times the the stearing column is messed up. Im really hopeing that after it was recoved that Jim called someone to tell them that he found it. I just thought of that. Great now im a paranoid of that too!
